August 8th Path Valley.. Fleming powers to first Sidewinder win
On yet another Friday night rain delayed visit to Path Valley, it was Stan Fleming that made the most of his opportunities. Stan’s effort started with a heat race win from his outside front row starting position, continued with him pulling a 0 pill draw to set the feature field and finished the night in victory lane at the end of the Sidewinder Sprints feature.
Driving the DuMor, inc. Site Furnishings (www.dumor.com) , Hyper Racing sponsored # 17S Yamaha powered Hyper chassis for Saner Motorsports, Stan wired the field to take his first win in Sidewinder Sprints action.
In victory lane Stan had this to say “ A huge thanks must go to Saner Motorsports for giving me this opportunity. Driving the DuMor Site Furnishing car is quite a challenge. The extra power and speed of the 1000cc engine really makes you work a lot harder and it’s a lot more challenging. This year it seams like it rains every Friday afternoon but one thing you can count on at Path Valley is that they will try their best to get the races in and tonight was no exception.”
With only 8 races left, the chase for the Hyper Cup is coming down to the wire. Only 13 points separate the leader Tim Mertz from 2nd place Ryan Greth.
