The action is heating up….

Last week we mentioned that Chad Hough was obviously quickly becoming used to the extra power of his Sidewinder Sprint with a fine 3^rd place finish. This week Chad again proved his ability with a commanding win.

On a fantastic racing surface that provided plenty of passing, Chad made his way from his 3rd starting position to take the lead on the very first lap and was never headed for the next 19 laps. There was however, plenty of pressure being applied from Ryan Greth, Shawn Seifert and Tim Mertz.

In victory lane Chad stated “Wow, the competition is unbelievably close, I knew I had to hit my marks or Ryan and Shawn were going to take advantage of my mistake.”

"The class is starting to grow, people are noticing the benefits and I think the fans are really starting to enjoy the competition. It’s only a matter of time till the Sidewinders are the premiere class"

"It's awesome having the whole family here tonight. My dad and mom sacrifice so much for this hobby and without them this wouldn't be possible"

Q.  Since this weeks 600cc heat race produced a race record (1:58.29) lowered from  the previous 2:00.15, can the Sidewinder Sprints beat their own 8 lap track record (1:58:37) on the new track surface?

For a comparison some of the other 8 lap records;  358 sprints (1:50:35), 358 late models (2:08:59), Thunder Cars (2:30:00).

A.. Not this week, the quickest 8 lap time by the Sidewinder Sprints this week was 2.00.16
